TERMS & CONDITIONS

Gym users must be at least 16 years of age.

I understand I will use the gym facilities at my own risk.

 

I agree to comply with the fitness area rules which are detailed below. I understand that I may be asked to leave the facility if I fail to do so. Entry to the facility may be refused at any time for any other justifiable reason.

​

When using any of the lockers, I am doing so entirely at my own risk and that Solway Fitness cannot be held responsible for any damage and/or theft of personal belongings even when the door is locked. I will be charged £5 if I lose a locker key.

​

Should I make use of the car park, I do so at my own risk and agree that Solway Fitness cannot be held responsible for any damage to vehicles.

 

Membership payments are non-refundable and non-transferable with no exceptions. If I want to cancel my membership I must provide Solway Fitness with the required minimum period of notice as detailed within my membership plan.

 

I understand that it is the responsibility of the member to ensure that any standing order payments to Solway Fitness are cancelled.

Gym Rules

GYM RULES

We want Solway Fitness to be a safe and welcoming environment for all its users, so there's a few simple rules in place that we expect everyone to follow:

All gym users must sign in upon arrival and exit of the facility, using their unique QR code.

​

Do not drop or slam weights on the floor. Return weights and equipment to its place after use.

​

Use equipment properly and follow directions.

​

Report any damaged equipment to staff IMMEDIATELY - do not use.

​

Wipe down/sanatise equipment after use.

​

No food should be taken into any of the fitness areas.

​

The use of chalk is prohibited.

​

Wear appropriate fitness attire at all times. No boots, sandals etc. 

​

Please refrain from entering the facility with dirty/muddy clothes or footwear.

​

Be respectful and courteous to other gym users.
 

Please uphold a high standard of personal hygiene.

We will not contact you for marketing purposes by post if you have indicated that you do not wish to be contacted. We reserve the right to contact you regarding important changes or updates to your account, contract or gym via post, e-mail, telephone or SMS.

Offline Data Protection

For the safety and security of you, our other members and our staff, and for associated purposes of crime prevention and detection, we operate 24-hour CCTV security at our gym. The images will be captured, processed and retained in accordance with our internal Privacy, CCTV & Data Protection Policy. Access to such footage will also be governed by the provisions of that policy.

We will securely store personal data including membership information and recorded CCTV footage.

Security precautions in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your information
